Morris Area Schools – Director of Buildings & Grounds

Description

The Morris Area School District has an opening for a full-time Director of Buildings and Grounds. The person in this position has responsibility for the overall operation and maintenance of all educational and non-education buildings, grounds, equipment, and furniture owned or leased by the School District.

Experience in facilities management and personnel supervision is preferred. Desired qualifications include knowledge of routine cleaning equipment and supplies, a 1st Class Boilers License (will assist in obtaining), ability to be flexible in job assignments, ability to supervise, schedule and evaluate personnel and skill in evaluating and prioritizing buildings and grounds needs.

Morris Area Schools has a PreK-12 facility, a bus garage, and
several outbuildings. Salary and benefits for the position are
regionally competitive and negotiable depending on experience and
qualifications.
