The Titan Service Technician Sponsorship program provides students looking to or currently pursuing an Associate's (2-year) degree in Diesel Technology or Precision Agriculture to obtain a career partnership. This program provides an opportunity to work alongside our expert Service teams in one of our Agriculture or Construction Equipment dealerships.

Job Duties:

  • The individual will learn product knowledge
    • Identify equipment brands/attributes/descriptions/parts
    • Learn and understand service computer programs
    • Participate in department demonstration and trainings, as applicable
  • The individual will gain experience in the Service department, including safety awareness
    • Assist with the diagnosis, repair, and reconditioning of machine systems and components
    • Complete setup and assembly of products
    • Assist with washing and detailing equipment as needed, following age appropriate safety limits
    • Assist with thorough documentation on all reports and forms required for each work order
    • Learn how to communicate problems and resolutions to supervisor and customers
    • Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments
  • The individual will gain exposure in customer relationship building
    • Analyze customer requests by identifying the facts
    • Present a positive and professional image of Titan Machinery in the presence of customers and community
  • The individual will participate in professional development
    • Attend department and area meetings, when applicable
    • Learn independent problem-solving, time management and communication skills
    • Participate in networking with team members, manufacturing partners and customers
    • Other duties as assigned



  • Enrollment in an AAS Diesel Technology Degree Program or related discipline
  • Must be an active participant in Titan Machinery's Student Service Technician Sponsorship Program
  • Excellent Mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to provide quality work and think logically
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with a high level of computer literacy
  • Demonstrated strong organization, decision making, and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines efficiently and cost effectively
  • Keen Attention to detail and a high level of initiative and ability to work independently
  • Punctual
  • Ability to work extended hours when needed
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, stressful work environment
  • Ability to handle and resolve frequent interpersonal conflict
  • Ability to respond quickly, accurately, and professionally to demands and requests from customres and employees
